It was a fun packed weekend with morning yoga out in the field for all the guests, a bouncy castle, croquet, table tennis, giant jenga…. no wonder the guests were grateful for the deckchairs hired from Vintage Bar Box® to rest their feet before the dancing commenced!
Hawthbush Farm is a 140 acre organic farm in the heart of East Sussex and it was chosen by Alex and Freddy for their wedding venue. Hawthbush Farm is a magical venue for a wedding. You can take the whole farm over for the weekend for a truly unique and memorable wedding.
The farm has lots of lovely accommodation and can keep up to 43 in style and comfort in the cottages (converted from an old piggery, cowshed and granary), safari tents and shepherds huts. There are 9 properties with 16 doubles and 10 singles. Up to 20 extra camping guests can be tucked up in our wildflower campsite.
Alex and Freddy had a beautiful blessing in the woodland clearing, which was laid out with rustic wooden benching and shepherds crooks with wild hanging flowers, all nestled in and amongst the trees. Followed by the main reception which took place at the barn.
It was a fun packed weekend with morning yoga out in the field for all the guests, a bouncy castle, croquet, table tennis, giant jenga…. no wonder the guests were grateful for the deckchairs hired from Vintage Bar Box® to rest their feet before the dancing commenced! As darkness drew upon the farm, so the celebrations continued with dancing until the late hours. The fire pit provided the perfect spot for guests to gather round on the deckchairs and watch the mesmerising flames, whilst reflecting on the amazing day.
Guests than retreated back to their cottages and relaxed in the wood fired cedar Hot Tub, sitting back with some local sparkling wine and soaking up the countryside.
Congratulations Alex and Freddy, what a weekend!
